This course includes: a 1:1 session with mental health focused Yoga Therapist Keri Marino, eight in person sessions, loads of resources you can use from home (like videos of yoga practices, audio recordings of meditations, journaling practices, education, etc) and email support.

Classes meet in person on Sunday nights from 4:30-5:45 pm from September 17th - November 12th (no class on October 8th).
Classes are hosted by and meet at GIFT Counseling Center for Wellness.
$325/person with payment plans available starting at $81.25.

Who is this class for?
Anyone who would like an approach to yoga that encourages them to practice yoga in a way that honors their needs. Whether you are actively working through healing from trauma related experiences or know on some level that a practice the helps guide you while giving you space to listen to the wisdom within you'll find benefit from this series. All genders are welcome.
Are yoga mats and props provided?
If you can bring your own yoga mat. GIFT has a full range of yoga props including blankets, blocks and bolsters.
What will the structure of the class be like?
Each class we'll start with a brief check then we will begin our movement practice which will gradually progress towards heat building poses that relieve stress. Then we'll wind down with soothing stretches, relaxation and meditation. Breathwork will be woven in through the class experience, as well as, skills to encourage resiliency, self-awareness and empowerment.
What level of class?
All levels designed for beginner to advanced students. If you have health considerations please let me know so I can give you suggestions.
What style of yoga?
Gentle to moderate flow yoga. You can expect to move, breathe and relax in each class. We won't be doing exotic poses (like handstands).
