As Fall settles in and Winter is on the horizon many feel depression rising or looming ahead.
In this small group Yoga Therapy program you can expect the following:

- Gain the ability to take a mind, body and spirit approach to lift the heaviness of depression and feel more in balance.
- Spend time with people who understand what you're going through and develop practical tools that you can use to feel better.
- Move forward with an integrative approach to depression that empowers you to live a life with more clarity, ease and joy.
This course is for you if:
- You feel overwhelmed or limited by depression
- You want to enjoy life more
- You are ready to take action to reduce your depression
- You have tried therapy and/or medication and need something more
- You believe in a body, mind and spirit approach to mental wellness
Includes four in person group sessions on Tuesday nights November 1 - 29 (with a break the week of Thanksgiving). We'll meet from 6-7pm EST at Pettigru Counseling and Associates.
You'll receive one online or in person 1:1 Yoga Therapy session so that you can make the most of this program. These are completed before our first group meeting.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring a yoga mat, two blankets and a firm bed pillow. I'll have an extra mat and props in case you forget yours one week.
Will movement be part of the program?
Yes, each class will begin with resting poses and gradually build towards gentle or moderate movement. You can expect to relax, move and breathe in each class. All movement will be beginner friendly and designed for students of all levels. If you have health considerations please let me know so I can give you suggestions.
What can I expect in the group sessions?
Each week we'll do three things: learn, experience and talk. I'll teach you about depression from an integrative approach, you'll practice tools to reduce depression and have the opportunity to talk with others about your experiences.
What is a Yoga Therapy session like?
Before your session you'll fill out a health and wellness questionnaire that we'll talk about during your session. This will be a time to get to know one another, for you to share about your life and for me to gain insight into how to help you get the most out of this program. I'll ask thought provoking questions and you'll be listened ton in a non-judgmental safe space. Click here to schedule.
