Tending to Your Nervous System through Yoga Workshop - in person in Greenville, SC
Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2-4pm at Greenville Yoga
Most women I work with know they need to slow down…but don’t actually know how to support their nervous system when it matters most. You might notice yourself feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, emotionally reactive…or trying to “calm down” but it doesn’t really work. In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to actually tend to your nervous system using yoga as a practical, supportive tool.
We’ll explore not just the what — but the how. You’ll learn:
This is not just educational, it’s experiential. You’ll be guided through gentle movement, somatic practices, and restorative yoga so you can feel the difference in your body… not just understand it.
There will also be space for reflection and conversation, because so much of this work is meant to be shared and witnessed. You’ll leave with simple, practical tools you can return to in your everyday life.
No prior experience needed. Come as you are.
Cost: $40

Trauma, the Body and Yoga - in person Chattanooga, TN
A Training for Teachers and Students
February 19-21 at Yoga Landing more details TBA
Every person who walks through the door of a yoga studio is carrying something.
A history. A nervous system shaped by experience. A body that has learned to protect itself in ways that show up on the mat — in the way someone braces in a backbend, goes quiet during a long hold, leaves before savasana or never comes back after a class that asked too much.
This is not the exception. This is every student. Every practitioner. Every teacher.
Trauma-informed yoga isn't just a specialty niche for working with clinical populations. It's the foundation of practicing and teaching yoga with genuine integrity — because when you understand what trauma actually does in the body and nervous system, everything about how you teach and how you practice changes.
This training gives you that understanding.
Over five sessions you'll develop a comprehensive, integrative framework for understanding trauma — what it is, how it lives in the body, how it shapes a person's relationship with movement, breath, stillness and sensation — and how yoga, practiced and taught holistically with this awareness, meets people in a fundamentally different and more respectful way.
You'll leave with a clear picture of how to create a practice environment where every student feels genuinely seen and genuinely supported — not through a checklist of modifications but through a deeply informed understanding of human experience that informs every cue, every assist, every sequence and every moment of silence you offer.
This training is for yoga teachers who want to bring more depth, more awareness and more genuine care to their teaching.
And it's for yoga practitioners who want to understand themselves — their own patterns, responses and relationship to practice — at a level most yoga education never reaches.
Stay tuned for details and sign up information.
