I used to think the goal was to never get triggered. To be so calm, so yogic, so grounded that nothing rattled me. And I was praised for it. “She’s so balanced.” “You’re always so peaceful.” “I wish I could be that zen.” But the truth? I wasn’t enlightened. I was disconnected. What looked like grace was often a chronic fawn or freeze response. I was hyper-aware of everyone else’s emotional state—but completely out of touch with my own. I silenced my needs. I softened myself to stay safe. And in doing so, I lost access to the full, fierce, sacred range of who I really am. Healing—real healing—changed that. Not by making me calmer. But by waking me back up. Through yoga, somatics, and, deep inner work, I began to feel again. To come alive in my body. To notice when I was shrinking and audaciously choose again. To trust myself more deeply than ever before. And with that came something unexpected: I started getting triggered more often. But instead of seeing that as a setback, I began to understand-- Triggers are invitations. 🔹 Sometimes they show us an old wound still in need of care, an opportunity to re-parent yourself. 🔹 Sometimes they reflect the weight of a season we’re in, the hard stuff. 🔹 And sometimes, they show up because we’re expanding—growing into a new version of ourselves our nervous system isn’t used to holding yet. Growth can feel like contraction before expansion. Healing can feel like discomfort before ease. But here’s what’s possible on the other side: ✨ You respond instead of react. ✨ You move through hard days without shutting down. ✨ You stop second-guessing yourself and start trusting your gut. ✨ You soften into your body instead of pushing past it. ✨ You feel strong enough to be present with your kids, your partner—and most importantly, *yourself.* That’s the kind of woman I work with. That’s the kind of woman I’ve become. And that’s what we’re nurturing together inside The Nourished Woman Membership. We’re diving deep into the nervous system, using breathwork, somatic practices, and a grounded approach to expansion. Not just so you can cope--but so you can thrive. So you can hold more joy, clarity, and calm without having to hold it all together. We don’t do this work to be perfect. We do it to be present. To feel the relief, of fully owning who you really are. To stop shrinking and start shining.
